Former WKLH morning host Carole Caine breaks silence

carolefbFormer WKLH-FM (96.5) morning show co-host Carole Caine broke her silence Tuesday a month after her contract was not renewed.

She had worked at the station for 29 years.

She said she was ‘humbled” by support from listeners after her dismissal. And said that she is “now a free agent. Anyone who wants me can have me,” she said.

    Dave n Carole are like Abbott n Costello,Ren n Stimpy,Tom n Jerry, Beavis n Butthead,Batman n Robin……You don’t separate them EVER! If financial reasons were the true cause because of a Nielsen lawsuit of letting her go after 29 years,and ratings were “slipping” you don’t discard the 2 in a 1-2 punch.You regroup and look further down the totem pole to make cuts.I always enjoyed “Dave n Carole in the morning,the morning KLH” for alot of years and I, like so many will truly miss that 1-2 punch! The Best to you Carole, I know you will be OK!
