Bobblehead promotions are always a big draw at the ballpark.
But the Milwaukee Brewers “Star Wars” night promises an out of this world experience, complete with a bobblehead featuring the team’s bearded poster boy Jonathan Lucroy, aka Luc “Skywalker,” dressed in Jedi Knight black and wielding a right handed green light saber.
According to the team’s website, limited-edition bobbleheads are available to fans who purchase ticket packages only.
The bobblehead giveaway will be held May 30
The new and much anticipated “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens” is scheduled for release Dec. 18.
According to the team’s website: “In a not too distant future, in a ballpark very, very close to you, the Brewers will host Star Wars Night on Saturday, May 30 when Milwaukee duels (with bats, not lightsabers) the Arizona Diamondbacks.”
“A number of Star Wars characters will be making special appearances throughout the night, and fans who purchase the Star Wars Night ticket package will receive a limited-edition Jonathan Lucroy “Jedi Luc” bobblehead. Ticket packages are available in the Field Outfield Box for $39 and Terrace Reserved for $22.”
Tickets go on sale at noon today, Feb. 17.
