Country music and news and talk were once again the one two punch in the February radio ratings with WMIL-FM up almost a full point and regaining the top stop and January leader WTMJ-AM dropping to second.
Talk radio WISN-AM was a distant third but its ratings jumped 1.6 points over last month, the highest increase of any station in the survey.
WMIL had a 10.7 share, WTMJ was down .6 of a share to a 10.3 and WISN earned a 6.5 share.
Wisconsin Public Radio station WHAD-FM had another growth spurt. It was up .5 since the holiday ratings period, prior to January. It was the highest rated public radio station in the survey.
These ratings, provided courtesy of the radio industry newsletter Tom Taylor Now, represent a percentage of those listening to radio who are listening to a station in an average-quarter hour.
They measure listening by total audience, 6 years and older.
