WISN’s Garbaciak, Paolantonio expand roles with McKee’s departure.

Veteran Milwaukee TV reporter and anchor Joyce Garbaciak will replace Craig McKee as anchor of the WISN-TV (Channel 12) 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts the station announced Tuesday. She will co-anchor with Kathy Mykleby.

Joyce GarbaciakPatrick Paolantonio will join the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts in an “expanded role” and will co-anchor the 5 p.m. with Toya Washington.

McKee is leaving the station to join WCPO-TV in Cincinnati.

Prior to joining WISN, Garbaciak spent 17 years at WITI-TV (Channel 6).

She joined WISN in 2006 as a contributing correspondent, began anchoring the Sunday night newscast in 2013 and was named co-anchor of the weekday 5 p.m. newscast with Toya Washington last September.

Patrick PaolantonioGarbaciak left WITI in 2005 to raise her three daughters. She is a Chicago native has a BS and MS from Northwestern University, and worked at stations in Wausau and Nashville.

Paolantonio joined WISN in 2002 and has co-anchored WISN’s morning newscasts for 12 years.

He previously worked at WOLO-TV,  in Columbia, S.C.,  as news anchor and reporter. And he graduated with a Journalism degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Mass.

(It was previously incorrectly reported Paolantonio alone would replace McKee.)
